On Wednesday the 1st October 2025 we held a thanksgiving service to commemorate 38 years of Mannafields Christian School, which had to close in August.
Steve our headteacher spoke to remind us of God’s goodness to the school and to thank everyone involved.
There were readings from former pupils and messages of thanks and hope from our chaplain, Mike. Gert, a representative of our supporters in the Netherlands (The John Knox Foundation), also gave a short message.
The evening ended with gifts to our faithful and hard working teaching staff (Steve, Bev, Inge, Candice and Kirsten)
It was a sad and happy occasion during which we thanked God for all He has done in and through Mannafields Christian School over the years.
The picture above is of just some of the pupils who benefited from the Christian Education they received at the school.
Even though the school is now closed the work of Mannafields Christian Education Association continues. We hope to open a new school in the not too distant future.
